Every December I watch people I love wear themselves out. Lists get longer, schedules get tighter, and the things that keep a household running keep piling up in the background.
So this year I’ve been thinking a lot about what makes a gift feel like a gift. For me, it’s the ones that hand someone a little of their life back.
The chore nobody asks for help with
Picking up after the dog is one of those jobs that never ends and never gets a thank-you. It happens in the cold, in the rain, after a long day. Nobody puts it on a wish list, but almost everybody with a dog and a yard would be relieved to have it handled. (I wrote more about that feeling in Why Pay for Dog Poop Removal? Because Sometimes Life Is Just… A Lot.)
That’s why we created the gift of a clean yard. You choose a package, and we take care of the rest. We reach out to your person, set up their first visit, and show up every week after that. They get a clean, safe yard, and they never have to lift a scooper.
Who’s on your list?
When I picture who this is for, a few people come to mind right away:
- The new dog mom learning crate training and 5 a.m. potty breaks.
- The new mom with a baby on her hip and no time to bend over a yard.
- The sister who’s stretched thin and would never ask for help.
- The single parent juggling work, pickups, homework, and the dog.
- Mom or Dad with a dog of their own, where a clean yard means safer footing and more peace of mind for you.
If someone on your list came to mind just now, that’s probably your answer.
A gift you can send from anywhere
You don’t have to live in Dallas to give it. Plenty of our gift givers are out of state, buying for family here in Dallas, Carrollton, Farmers Branch, Addison, Plano, Sachse, and the surrounding area. As long as your person lives in our service area, you can send it from wherever you are.
How to give it
Choose from two packages: A Month of Clean (4 weekly visits, $80) or The Big One (12 weekly visits plus a bonus visit, $240). Visit our gift page, pick a package, and tell us who it’s for at checkout. We’ll send you a gift certificate you can print, email, or tuck into a card.
Clean yards. Happy tails.
